The drawbar is left-hand threaded on one half and right-hand threaded on the other, with a handle through the middle. Each end threads into a bracket with attachment holes.

The handle bends at 2,600 pounds, providing a built-in safety factor that prevents it from being overloaded by, say, someone putting a piece of pipe over the handle.
